The Address Hotel and Apartments are positioned at the north-western most point of a new neighborhood being developed by Emaar Properties along the east bank of Dubai Creek, a natural tidal inlet that extends about 9 miles east off of the Persian Gulf. The two towers frame a significant organizing line of axis which radiates outward from a 1300 meter observation tower designed by Santiago Calatrava located at the center of the development. The towers are 55 and 65 stories and include 760 serviced apartments and a 200 key Address Hotel, along with associated amenities and retail. The dramatic axial composition is punctuated by an elevated pier which extends outward from a coastal boardwalk. Designed to create a slender and graceful visual profile, these dual towers serve as both a focal point and a celebrated gateway to the Dubai Creek Harbor development. The towers are strategically oriented and composed to optimize views of the Downtown Dubai skyline across the creek. The corners of the towers are smoothed and their forms gradually taper at the upper levels as they dissolve into the sky. A high-performance curtain wall and metal panel facade is punctuated by balconies, which are arranged in larger blocks by unit mix. An interwoven vertical pattern of fluted metal panels stich these blocks together and give the building its vertical expression.
