Yan Krymsky, AIA, LEED Green Associate
Design Principal

Born in Odessa, Ukraine, I have lived in Los Angeles since the age of three. Growing up in an immigrant household left me with a multicultural experience that I share with many Angelenos and an outsider perspective that informs my work.
Art guides my approach to architecture. For me, design is a process by which meaning is discovered through geometric and material exploration. My goal is to create an expressive, functional, multilayered architecture that represents the values and cultures of its occupants. I believe that good design can be a powerful agent for progress – a step toward an inspired society that works for greater inclusion, diversity and balance with the environment.
